What’s a Chapbook?

A chapbook is a small, short book, typically a collection of poetry, stories, or essays, often self-published and relatively inexpensive.

They are often around 20-40 pages long and can be thought of as a smaller, more focused version of a full-length book.

The term "chapbook" comes from the peddlers (chapmen) who sold these small, affordable books back in the 15th century.
